I've found the direct overnight shipping advantageous because it means lower pricing (no middleman) and longer lasting, fresher flowers. I've sent flowers through both companies (and continue to regularly) and have been very happy with their flowers, shipping methods (boxes are elegant and keep flowers fresh and safe during shipping) and customer service. The real test, of course, are the comments made by the person receiving the flowers! :)
